Soap!

SOAP!! Unfortunately I made these up from a kit so I can't give a tutorial but I thought you might like to see them. They've just come out of the fridge where they were setting for an hour. I think I'll give most of this batch to my friends at school when we go back in September. It's not long now! In some ways I don't want to go back (okay a lot of ways) but I think this year will be different to all the last. Maybe they'll make a serious student out of me yet. Starting A-levels is still nerve wrecking no matter how much of a study-holic you are.

Whole Macramé Knot Bracelet

This brought back memories! I used to do this with skoubidou strings when I was younger and still love it. This knot is the whole macrame knot (which I did not know until I looked up a tutorial for you guys). The bracelet is great and I love it!

The tutorial is below:

You can make them flat or spiraled. I chose flat as it sits better as a bracelet than spirals.

Have a go!

Purple French Knitted Belt

Well this week I tried french knitting! It was much faster than I though it would be actually, which is good because I have a terrible 'give-up' notion for things that take a long time. Anyway, I'm pleased with how it turned out! I found the idea first on Pinterest :)

The tutorial I followed is below:
However, my Knitting Nancy was constructed with a toilet roll tube and 11 pens taped round the sides -.- (I don't own very much equipment) So having 11 stitches obviously made it larger than the one in their tutorial!

Hope you liked it!
